About Dr. Michitti

Growing up, Dr. Frank Michitti spent a lot of time in the dentist’s office as a patient with problematic teeth. These early visits taught him how important it was to treat patients with kindness and compassion, and helped him develop his own sense of empathy, which still guides him today. Between these experiences, encouragement from his dentist, and inspiration from his cousin Paul (also a dentist) he decided to pursue a career in dentistry at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry.

Today, Dr. Michitti is recognized as a “Top 1% Dentist” for achieving Mastership status in the Academy of General Dentistry.  To do this, dentists must:

• Complete over 1,100 credit hours of CE.
• Earn 400 of those 1,100 credits in hands-on courses.
• Pass an exam equal in difficulty to board certification exams.

Additionally, he has completed numerous courses at the prestigious Dawson Academy, having attended over 1,000 hours of continuing education since graduation. He has also received advanced training in dental implants.

When he’s not protecting his patients smiles and helping them to feel comfortable about caring for their own teeth and gums, Dr. Michitti enjoys spending time with his family. Both his son and daughter are avid swimmers and compete across New England. Dr. Michitti also loves tending to his vegetable garden and honing his handyman skills with DIY projects around the house.
